Tiny Tuesday ...

... bumble bee on Aster. 

I really wanted to post something else today ... but the birds let me down.

So I had to go looking for a different sort of macro.  As I wandered the backyard with camera in hand I noticed a lot of activity on the bushy aster plant growing in the sunshine.  So I pulled up a chair and snapped away.  Over 200 pictures later I was satisfied that I might have gotten something useable.  In all I took over 350 pictures today of various things ... including a very young chipmunk that I hope to feature in the near future.
