Reminders of past holidays and a son who used to love all things seaside.

Today has been a mixture of sunshine and proper rain. I saw that there would be a "weather window"just before lunchtime, so Jess and I had our walk in the forest. I created a gpx. file using the Ordnance Survey website, found out how to import it to my watch, and tested it on the walk with an app called Workoutdoors. We have to take a paper map and printed directions on the walk, in case technology fails, but nice to have gpx. too.

The rest of the day has passed quietly, thinking about what to pack for the upcoming trip, sitting with D, talking to Mum and Dad on the phone and cooking a stirfry for tea :-)
