Solace Day 5

This is the autumnal look of the canal today, it is strewn with debris from the trees. Ducks have left a track through it.

We caught sight of a kingfisher today but didn't see where it perched which was disappointing. Even the herons have been few and far between. I was determined to get shots of this one (Extra) as it kept moving on ahead of us.

We had a bit of time to spare so we moored at Rugeley and had a look around the town. We found a charity shop with a nice set of whisky glasses to replace the ones I'd broken at home. Just pressed glass, I wanted everyday ones I could put in the dishwasher.
