What lies beneath
Torrential overnight rain left our greenhouse partly underwater. It seems that some of the glass panes have slipped so I have been trying to make repairs and, during further heavy rain, have given the whole greenhouse a thorough clean out ready for over-wintering the abutilons. In doing so I discovered these tiny translucent eggs underneath a clay plant pot. I think they must be snail eggs as I had noticed some snail damage on a few of the abutilons that are already under cover. I've put the eggs outside under a bush where they will do less noticeable damage, or perhaps they will be eaten by birds.
