Blending in
Annie was going to go and get another coat made in the morning and at the last minute I decided to as well. Wanted one that had a plain tweed material but in the end I had to go for wool. The women's sister drove me on her motorbike to 2 fabric shops. They were full of so many different colours of fabric. Got there eventually and decided what fabric to us. We had to go back at 6.30pm to have them fitted. We all went for a swim and then headed to get some lunch. I had Wonton soup. Normal Wontons are better! As we were walking to the taylor Annie had to run back and get her bag. The dress I had made was so nice except I had to get it taken in at the front and I was going to change the bow but I ran back to the shop and told them to leave it the way it was. We then had a shake each waiting to go to Annie's and Katie's taylor. They both liked there coats but both needed altering so we all had to go back that evening.
All went for another swim before heading to a different taylor's to try our coats on. Really liked mine but the fur wasn't attached so I asked them to change that. Annie wasn't too keen on hers. I then went to the leather shop and chose the buckle for my belt. Then headed to the other Taylor's shop and tried on my dress again. I was really happy with it. Tried to put my bra back on under my dress but they just pulled my dress off so I was standing half naked in front of them. We then got supper and had some amazing local food. I had shrimp paste that was wrapped around sugar cane so you could eat the sugar cane and then I had caulao noodle thing. Got A and K's coat and went back and had a swim. We all completely unpacked our rucksacks and decided what to send home.
The picture is of the pointy hats we had bought standing in front a big fruit stand.
