A walk in the woods.

Before that, very early, I went shopping. Yes, I got a grocery delivery yesterday but I needed a few things from Morrisons, there were another few items that I’d forgotten to put on the online order and I could probably save a few pennies a litre on a tank of supermarket fuel.

Mission accomplished I was home soon after 9 o’clock.

After an early lunch I walked up through Skelghyll Wood as far as High Skelghyll farm (s There were many options then for the return route but the weather was worsening (I could see a shower crossing the lake as I approached the farm) so decided to go back the same way, under the shelter of the trees.
