Sherlock’s new home

Work continues slowly around all the upheaval of the trams and Picardy Place is beginning to take shape again. The statue of Sherlock Holmes (a memorial to Arthur Conan Doyle who lived somewhere nearby) has been returned to a more prominent position and surrounding him signs of landscaping are happening. Might be quite nice once it’s all finished - the difficult bit is navigating your way across roadways, tramlines and cycle paths to get there. I never know where  anything is coming from!
