Recycling Bins …

… conveniently near our Madrid hotel. We haven’t actually used them, but it’s nice to know they’re there. Like virtually all the local infrastructure in Europe, it’s much better conceived than is usual back across the Atlantic.

We had a quiet day today after visiting two museums in the last two days. We are still jet-lagged and so our major activity was a lovely lunch in a small nearby restaurant. We both had monkfish and were each served a whole fish. Eating it was quite a job, but it was delicious.
