Multi coloured cones....

A bit of a novelty this morning - a dry day !
Once I'd been round the cattle ,loaded up the grain dryer and spent the day shifting barley about. It's at 14.5% moisture ,which is dry enough to store safely, but the pile in the shed is starting to heat as when it was combined the grain was warm. So I'm having to bring the temperature down by running it through the mobile dryer and only blowing cold air through it. Each 10 ton batch takes about two hours to cool, and by the time I've loaded and unloaded trailers,I think I did not bad getting 3 batches done by 8 pm.
In between,a neighbouring farmer came in for a trailer load of bruised barley, and another pal got a tote bag full for his cattle.
Spotted these huge cones in the wood when I was feeding cows this morning.
