That Canna do attitude

It’s felt quite autumnal this week, and indeed we arrive at the autumn equinox tomorrow.,. Despite the changing weather, our Canna - which sits in a container with a few other plants - has surprised us by growing a second flower stalk and the flowers are now starting to emerge, first at the bottom and then ( hopefully) successively towards the top. It’s surviving strong winds, heavy rain showers and cooler temperatures so far.
Those yellow and red hues are definitely summery, not autumnal.
