Dodging the rain!

Despite a day of heavy rain showers we managed to finish some major garden jobs .
Dave has lowered the hedges that create the edges of the front and side gardens.we have a corner house and the hedges give us privacy but the desire to have more light has trumped the desire for privacy.
I did a few jobs on the plot including harvesting the last of the potatoes which I have grown in bags , no pest damage whatsoever, I will be using more bags next year.
I have set the sewing machine up in the front room window and made some wheel covers for Freya’s buggy ,we thought we would try and keep the boot of our new car mud and dog hair free , for a while anyway .
Wishing you all sunny weekends , the weather in the UK sounds promising for the weekend.
