Oystercatchers

Not easy to get close to these ultra sensitive waders especially when you have a dog with you.  There must have been about a dozen in the shallows and on the rocks when Fouter and I went along the beach for his before breakfast walk.

The weather turned out much better than expected .... the promised wind and intermittent showers just didn't happen.
