Spring Equinox
We ended up getting 40mm of rain in the last 36 hours. That will do nicely. For now anyway.
It was another overcast day so I drove up the road to collect a churn of milk, which I immediately turned into a batch of yoghurt and a Lancashire cheese.
This was a much simpler, and less time-consuming recipe than that of the Traditional Cheddar last weekend.
As a result I was able to nip into the garden between showers, where I planted out the brassicas and sorted out the pea seedlings ready to plant tomorrow.
As I have typed this the Spring Equinox has sprung.
Hooray for longer daylight hours than dark ones for the next six months.
