Dim cychod heddiw
Dim cychod heddiw ~ No boats today
“After all ... all arts are just one. You can write a painting with words, just as you can paint sensation in a poem.”
― Pablo Picasso

Roedden ni'n eithaf optimistaidd am fynd i'r Ynys Bŷr heddiw. Roedd hi'n heulog ac roedd y môr yn edrych yn dawel. Yn anffodus roedd y swyddfa tocyn wedi cau oherwydd roedden nhw wedi clywed rhagweld am storm, felly penderfynon nhw doedden nhw ddim yn hwylio heddiw. Basai hi'n hwyl i ymweld ag Ynys Bŷr ond nawr bydd e'n flwyddyn tan rydyn ni'n cael cyfle arall. Fel Nor'dzin dweud, dydych chi ddim wir yn colli dim. Dych chi'n colli dim ond y dyfodol yr oeddech chi'n meddwl y byddech chi'n ei gael.
Rydyn ni wedi cael amser da beth bynnag. Aethon ni i fyny bryn y castell ac yn mwynhau edrych dros y môr ac yn bwyta ein brechdanau. Roedd y tywydd yn ddramatig iawn gyda haul, cymylau a chawodydd o law.
Roedd y wythnos yn rhuthro heibio. Yfory rhaid i ni fynd adre.

We were quite optimistic about going to Ynys Bŷr today. It was sunny and the sea looked calm. Unfortunately the ticket office was closed because they had heard a storm forecast, so they decided they weren't sailing today. It was fun to visit Caldey Island but now it will be a year until we get another chance. As Nor'dzin said, you don't really lose anything. You only lose the future you thought you were going to have.
We've had a good time anyway. We went up the hill of the castle and enjoyed looking over the sea and eating our sandwiches. The weather was very dramatic with sun, clouds and showers of rain. There were big swells on the sea, so we could understand why the boats weren't out.
In the evening, we went to the new restaurant 'Umi', a Japanese restaurant and the food was very excellent.
The week has rushed by. Tomorrow we have to go home.
