Rhedeg i'r orsaf

Rhedeg i'r orsaf ~ Run to the station

“I am not this steeply sloping hour in which you see me hurrying”
― Rainer Maria Rilke

Roedd rhaid i ni adael y fflat cyn deg o'r gloch, ac yn ffodus roedden ni'n barod yn gynnar. Yn arfer mae digon o amser gyda ni i ddweud ffarwel wrth y fflat ac i'r môr ond heddiw roedd pethau yn wahanol.  Roedden ni'n mynd i dal y 11:42 o Ddinbych-y-pysgod, ond sylwodd Daniel ei wedi bod yn cael ei chanslo. Oherwydd roedden ni'n gynnar penderfynon ni rhedeg i lawr i ddal yr 09:40 - a gwnaethon ni. Felly roedd y dechreuad rhyfedd i'r diwrnod.

Yn sydyn roedd Dinbych-y-pysgod ac ein gwyliau ymhell y tu ôl i ni ac roedden ni'n rasio heibio Pembre a Phorth Tywyn i i Abertawe i dal y trên i Gaerdydd. Yna ar ôl daith tacsi byr roedden ni adre.

Mae'n ymddangos fel bod yr wythnos wedi mynd mor gyflym - ond roedd e wyliau da iawn. Blwyddyn nesa rydyn ni'n meddwl am fynd ym mis Mai ac rydyn ni'n edrych ar fwcio'r un lle.

We had to leave the flat before ten o'clock, and luckily we were ready early. Usually we have enough time to say goodbye to the flat and to the sea but today things were different. We were going to catch the 11:42 from Denbigh-y-pysgoad, but Daniel noticed it had been cancelled. Because we were early we decided to run down to catch the 09:40 - and we did. So it was a strange start to the day.

Suddenly Tenby and our holidays were far behind us and we were racing past Penbre and Porth Tywyn to Swansea to catch the train to Cardiff. Then after a short taxi ride we were home.

It seems like the week has gone so quickly - but it was a very good holiday. Next year we are thinking of going in May and we are looking at booking the same place.
