Nooo-oo!

I was down at Ocean Terminal just after 9 to get my flu + covid booster jags. Luckily the queue was fairly minimal (unlike when D got his on Wednesday and had to wait for almost an hour). Just as well, since the bloke behind me spent some time mansplaining to me how it wasn't worth getting the booster as they'd have the new variant vax out in a few weeks. He had already announced that he had a cold, so I was trying to keep my distance as well as displaying disinterest. Great view from the (2nd floor) vax centre - could see the Oxcar light and Braefoot but not quite Inchcolm.
Was able to visit the market on my way home - picked up a replacement butterwort from Quirky's stall.

The juvenile gull (must have been a late hatching) was tottering around outside OT, wheezing out its pleas for food to....anyone really. No adult gulls around. It was trying to eat a small piece of blue plastic. I chased it away, but of course it was going to come back for another go. Still, when I emerged later the plastic was still there - maybe the idiot bird had given up on it.
