Job done

Gorgeous sunny autumn day. Finally a good day to trim the box hedge.  Neither too hot, nor too damp, nor any sign of rain.  Perfect.  I have to say it is hard work and I am beginning to wonder why I planted it as it is so much bigger than I had anticipated.  However, having looked rather unkempt all year (missed the spring cut) it now looks rather wonderful and is more of a feature which is exactly what I had hoped for.  Lovely! 
On two of them I have left a central sprig to do its thing at the top of the dome.. I fancy perhaps they might turn into a punctuation at some stage but are very small for now!
Looking forward to the rugby this afternoon and putting our feet up!
