I did some weeding and deadheading this morning, then staked up the cosmos that had blown over from TS Lee. Not many bees around, and not a hummingbird in sight • Happy first day of Autumn! • While weeding I was admiring this bush we planted last spring. Don’t ask me what it is, LoL, but it will have a lovely display of flowers next spring. Anyway, I saw something green on the leaf and stepped in to get a closer look • I have NEVER seen a tree frog, and what a thrill to find my first today. I left to grab my camera and MrsP, hoping it would still be in place. It was :) • We’ve since discovered it’s a juvenile gray tree frog, and it will overwinter under leaves and other debris • Her name is Jade • Enjoy the rest of your weekend!
