Bullock Creek

It was so enjoyable walking around this area on my solo walk this morning (Frida and Jill went on a much more demanding walk). We helped with some of the planting 5 years ago, when we first arrived to live in Wānaka.
It gladdened my heart to read the notice (extra) that this area is “forever protected”…..yet, run off from developers can still pollute what was pristine spring water - I can not understand the logic of QLDC.

We had a super 70th celebration last night, and caught up with people we hadn’t seen for a while.

Friends are coming for a cuppa and scones, so I’d better get them out of the oven - they are smelling wonderful!
