Tumbling water
The sunshine was very welcome this morning after a very wet week. We thought that we should make the most of this respite in the weather as the forecast for the next few days looks wet and windy. Nick wanted to check that all was well with our boat which is anchored in Tobermory Bay and I thought that this would be a good opportunity to give Bertie a different walk. While Nick rowed out to the boat, Bertie and I wandered along the path that skirts the bay as far as Aros. My blip shows the Aros Burn tumbling over the rocks down to the bay some distance below us, via Sput Dubh (black spout). I had forgotten how lovely this walk is and will return again before too long.
After a (disappointing) coffee we returned home and I used the continuing dry, sunny weather to do some badly needed tidying in the garden. The day finished in a very pleasurable way with delicious home-made pizza at our neighbours, followed by scrumptious lemon meringue pie!
