Not quite ready

When I checked the apple trees this afternoon none of the apples were quite ready for picking so I hope they hang on for another ten days as we are off for a trip in the campervan tomorrow. Our imminent departure means that we spent most of today packing the van. Sadly, the lovely sunny weather has come to an end and we had a grey day with a light sprinkling of rain.
