Loud

We invited Gill and Geoffrey to join us at a concert by the Charnwood Symphonic Orchestra in Emanuel Church, Loughborough. I rather wish I hadn't. They were loud and didn't have much nuance if that's at all possible with brass instruments. They should have been in a much bigger space. It was OK but I think they were tired by the time they reached the last number, Bohemian Rhapsody.

Still, it was nice to meet up with Gill and Geoffrey who are off on yet another cruise in two days time. Saga have upgraded them to a deluxe cabin. They're off to view the wonders of the Fall in eastern Canada.
