Among the Pines

The weather was against us today so we headed north to Inverness to go for a climb and then treated ourselves to a spa afternoon.  It seemed that lots of people in the highlands had a similar idea and the climbing wall was busy, but still quiet enough to have a good go.  The cafe there is really good with a make your own salad bowls option!

After a swim and a sauna we both got told by the massage therapists that we have very tight shoulders and that we might want to look into that a bit more regularly. Afterwards we got food at the Victorian Market before heading back to Aviemore.  

We had a short walk to loch morlich where the wind was cold but the evening was beautiful.  It's such a special place with the trees, the mountains and the beach. I liked the light coming through the pines.
