New Trains

Helen and I went into Liverpool for lunch and a shop around.Neither of us bought anything but we did get some Australian dollars for our niece.

The train into town was packed with supporters heading to see the Liverpool game.Always good natured and we got talking to a very old gent who no longer goes to the game but heads into one of the pubs in Liverpool for a pint and watch it live on TV.
We have new trains running on the Ormskirk to Liverpool line and they are very plush. Our local station is well looked after and planted up by volunteers. In the extras is the volunteers hut.The other extra is the oldest surviving building in central Liverpool.Bluecoat Chambers was originally built as a charity school. The architecture is Queen Ann and it is now an arts centre with a very reasonable cafe with nice seating in the square behind the building.
