Vintage

Day two of the Heritage Weekend.  Decidedly wet and at times torrentially so ... but there were dry interludes.   This was not one of them!   I wanted a picture of the vintage special, the heritage set plus a line of wagons behind it.  It was sheeting down so I ran to the blockpost for a bit of cover.   Atmospheric perhaps but due to the curvature of the line it is not possible to see the wagons!

Not such a busy day in Aber cafe as yesterday, not surprising given the weather was well signposted in advance.  Nice to see Mum and Chris on the afternoon train along with another brother and  my niece who are on holiday nearby.  An earlier finish but Meg and I still got caught in the rain while we were out.  Home made apple crumble for afters tonight :-)
