We made it to the Common Ground Fair today. It wasn't rainy and it wasn't too sunny, it was just right. There is always so much to take in at the fair. It's a little overwhelming. Luckily right when we parked there was a nice guy driving a little cart that picked us up and drove us all the way down to the fair gate.
We wandered around and had fun at the sheep dog demonstration. Some of the dogs were in training and some were really expert. That is my extra. My main is a cool wild bee home that was built. We also listened to some Shape Note Singing. A tradition from the south but it has spread all over. It was a small group singing but this link explains more about it. It can be really haunting to listen to. I've done a little of this type of singing when I lived in Vermont.
It was a good day today.
