Eradicated
Back in August, I blipped a photo of a derelict house. It had multiple outlying buildings in the field behind it. The extra is a photo that I took of a few of them from the back gate on that same day.
Today, we were headed down to the river to check it out after the storm. On the way, we saw smoke on the horizon. It turned out to be from a massive burn of the remnants of all those buildings that had been bulldozed.
This was shot from the same place that I shot the photo in the extra. It was a bit disconcerting painful to witness.
(The big clouds from the storm highlighted my dirty camera sensor. It is surprising how much debris accumulates on a mirrorless.)
