That autumn feeling…….

My ivy flowers/seed heads alongside some Virginia creeper reminds me of autumn. The ivy flowers remind me of fifties ‘sputnik’ designs.

There were some ‘sunny intervals’ today and the strong cold wind has gone.

I was in a hurry yesterday and forgot to get petrol. Today it cost me 2p a litre more than it would have done yesterday! Two years ago it cost me £32 to fill the tank (it’s a small car) but now it costs £46. I don’t think an extra £10 means anything to Govt, who probably pay more than that daily when they drink in their taxpayer subsidised House of Commons bars. It’s apparently subsidised because MPs often work unsocial hours and can’t get to normal pubs in their opening hours. There must be thousands of people working unsocial hours but don’t get taxpayer subsidised food and drink!
