Comedy genius

Well the hospital procedure went far better than I anticipated and I had a fascinating conversation with the doctors while viewing the images on the screen.
The doctors and nurses were magnificent.

Afterwards I went for a walk in Stanley Park to find the statue of probably the most famous Blackpool Clown, Charlie Cairoli.

I found it and it will be a blip on another day.

Today is a day to remember the comedy genius that is Les Dawson.
Les left this life 20 years ago today but his legacy will live forever in the comedians he inspired.

We only had to look at Les and we would start to laugh.

His barage of "insults" towards his wife and Mother in Law are the stuff of legend and could only really have been delivered with love for both as the cornerstone.

You may have gone from this life Les but you will never be forgotten while there are the Cissy and Ada's having a gossip, wives and mothers in law, and of course grand pianos.

God bless you Les, thanks for still making me laugh 20 years on.
