Lunchtime meeting...

It started quite overcast today but still very warm, by lunchtime it was scorchio and we we looking for shade at every opportunity.

We walked to the old town and meandered through the streets and found a lovely little beach where we played and built sandcastles for an hour or so. I went on a little further on my own to the port and took in the lovely sights of the north edge of town where the waves were crashing quite spectacularly.

We walked back towards the hotel and found a lovely bar/restaurant to have a light bite and a drink but mainly to get out of the sun during the peak of the day.

The afternoon was spent poolside and Orla must have been on the water slide a 100 times, at least 50 of those with me in tow.

It's so quite as the schools have just gone back so we are making the most of it because we only have another year of Orla out of school.

Just off to dinner now and a stroll somewhere.
