Sunny Evening

Today we hired bicycles and explored the north-western part of the island. The cycling was on smooth dedicated off road cycle paths and quiet country roads which followed the coast. At points there were areas to pull off with benches and picnic benches. We’d however located a little seafood restaurant we wanted to go to for lunch. The meal was simple and tasty - tuna pate and toast, followed by fish soup. It gave us the rest and energy we needed to explore a nearby village of Loix and do the return journey back to Saint Martin.

This evening it’s been warm and sunny so we wandered the town taking in the views out to sea, before returning for dinner.
