Late afternoon

I washed, sterilised and filled bottles with apple juice - five litres in plastic bottles for the freezer, and six glass bottles for immediate, or at least reasonably prompt use, as I'm not sure how long it will keep. Meanwhile, P's cider is already bubbling merrily.

Later in the afternoon, another autumnal walk along another field edge footpath, just a little further up the valley than yesterday's. The sun was fading, but I liked this subtly mottled sky.
