Facade/Wall
I spent the afternoon/evening preparing for an assessment I have on Tuesday. I’d hoped for the documents a bit earlier earlier, so by the time I got started, I felt a bit sleepy! I could have done part of it on the day itself, but I prefer to have a lighter admin day when I’m actually online with the trainers and observing lessons and writing up live feedback. I use the gaps in between the live parts to have a break and stretch my legs. All depends on how the timetable is organised, of course. Sometimes there are no breaks in the timetable, so it’s got to be done before. In the ‘olden days’ of face-to-face assessments, everything had to be done in the school on the assessment day, with time programmed into the timetable. Pros and cons. I like to go through the documents and see trainees’ portfolios before they teach.
I liked the light on the wall here when I was out for a walk.
Bb arrived home, safe and sound, from Lisbon. Nice to have him home again.
