Driving Home
We spent the day in Penrith for a specialist's appointment, repairing shoes, buying a bird bath, getting a new watch battery, eating out for lunch etc.
On the way home, Norma drives while I sit in the passenger seat, taking photographic pot shots at what we pass. For the first time in ages we found ourselves driving into an approaching storm from the west. Atmospheric disturbances can be so photogenic, don't you think?
In the shot above, we are entering Medlow Bath through a massive road widening project. The winding route across the mountain top is finally beginning to resemble a proper highway.
