Talmont

When I booked the trip, I hadn’t realised that we would sail as far as Royan and then back along the coast, past the troglodyte homes in the limestone, and, my favourite, Talmont.

I have such wonderful memories of this area with my good friend, Erica, who has a caravan not far from here. Sadly, she’s going through difficult times so I’ve got a bit emotional. 

This afternoon, we’re heading for the vineyards in Blaye and Bourg. More tours and tasting. I may add a couple of extras.
