This is the life

A gorgeous sunrise and a gentle cruise along the Dordogne to Libourne.

My blip shows one of the crew watching to make sure we dock properly. (He’s quite a joker….you should see his dancing.)

The ship is fabulous. However, there are only 25 crew and many of them multi task. Eva works in the bar when she’s not cleaning your cabin. I asked her about this and she says they have to turn their hand to everything. She joked that she hopes she ends up as the captain.

We’re off to Saint Emilion this afternoon. A visit to this city and we’re warned that the descent into the chapel is hazardous and we should wear our least slippery shoes. It’s going to be 30 plus degrees
 - That rules out my coolest sundress !

Never mind. We have yet another wine tasting.

IHowever, I totally recommend this trip. It’s hard to work out some of the best ways of getting water (you have to fill your own plastic bottles from the bar.) You have to remember to collect milk sachets and such stuff from the table in the bar…… but it’s huge fun and we’re seeing so much….

So short. We’re going home on Friday…..but there are issues at Gatwick with BA again……the world has gone mad.

Extra: Saint Emilion.
