Collar

I made a collar!

Al asked me to make him a top to go with his PJ bottoms. As anyone who makes handmade things knows, to actually have someone ask you to make them something, rather than just accept it politely with a resigned smile and one eye on the bin is rare and beautiful thing!

This is my first time making a collar and I think I did it pretty well! And hopefully in a few days I will also be able to say the same about my first set in sleeves and button holes!

Today one of Betsy's teachers, Dr Hui, rang me. Betsy is one of five students chosen to make a speech at an annual speech conference. It's the first time anyone from Year 7 has ever been chosen. He was lovely and very nice about Betsy.
