Flower harvest - Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh
A busy day:
- Into the kitchen to start Sunday lunch prep
- To the supermarket for last minute supplies
- Back into the kitchen for further lunch prep
- At the front door to welcome guests - Frauke, David and Miro
- At the kitchen table for lunch: smoked salmon pâté; redcurrant leg of lamb with roast root vegetables, roast potatoes, peas, Yorkshire puddings, and gravy; German baked cheesecake
- To the Botanic Garden to check the harvest festival displays (one blipped) and listen to the BarrowBand sing silly songs about fruit and vegetables
- Back to the kitchen to clear the table and wash up (a lot - because it appeared that the dishwasher was broken. It is not).
- To the sofa for hot chocolate before bedtime
