Rabbits and books
Mr hazelh and I passed this wonderful display of model rabbits and old books in a shop window on our way to the Royal Botanic Garden of Edinburgh this afternoon. Someone must have had a lot of fun creating this collection of ceramics.
On the same walk we called into several Stockbridge charity shops. These included the one where my gym friend Liz works on the till as a volunteer on Tuesday afternoons. It was great to see her in action. We also stopped for tea/coffee and pain au raison/chocolat at Cuckoo's bakery on Dundas Street.
Back home again I indulged in a little work. I helped Marina with her post-PhD publication strategy and wrote a blog post to alert folk that her thesis is now available for download from the University repository.
Mummy hazelh has split her day between the sitting room and the Proms on the iPlayer, and resting in her room.
I slept brilliantly last night. Here's hoping for a repeat performance.
Exercise today: 1 hour on the exercise bike; 5k run; walking (18,295 steps including run).
