All is safely gathered in………

………sprang to my mind when I stopped to take this photo.
Here on the outer edges of the urban sprawl we are never far from open countryside to the North and East, and in the West at a 20 minute walk or so, we have the breathing lung of Sutton Park.
Most of the fields around us have now been harvested or mown for pasture grass to be stored against the winter.
This weekend our church will have its Harvest Festival. Only all the contributions now go to the Food Bank, which is collected and distributed by various organisations in the city.
I reacquainted my self with the hairdresser’s this afternoon, which was a treat, and took the photo on my way home.
Our friend is coming after work as usual for her tea, which is really dinner, but we still call it tea! Confused?
Being an ex Lancastrian we had dinner generally around 12.45 pm, which others call lunchtime, and tea in the early evening around 5.00pm, which others generally call dinner time.
