Coffee with friends…..

………this morning, after we had our flu jabs at a local Boots chemist.
Booked them on-line last Saturday, along with our Covid Boosters, which we will have next week.
I waited until I was fully recovered from the recent chest infection and asthma.
Home for lunch and then I was off again to meet up with the ladies who are in the Pilates group which meets on a Wednesday. The teacher is on holiday this week. We met at the local Farmhouse café.
It’s been an odd sort of day for weather.
Dire warnings of Storm Agnes approaching our shores today, with gale force winds and torrential rain.
As I look outside now at 16:40 the sun is shining and the wind is picking up a bit but so far nowhere near as bad as predicted.
Well here at least in the West Midlands.
It was lovely to meet up with Blipper Rainette and her husband Geoff this morning. We were there about 90 minutes.
We then bought three birthday cards before coming home.
It’s our son’s birthday on Friday, and two of our friends’ birthdays coming up soon.
