Lindisfarne Castle

Today looked liked the best weather day of our days here, so we plumped to visit Holy Island.  A causeway connects it to the mainland and we had to time our visit to coincide with the tides.

We really enjoyed our visit to the castle and then visited the Priory after lunch.

Really good day and good weather, too.
