Purple Flower …

… found on the way to today destination in the west of Spain.

We returned to Madrid Airport today to meet
our birding group and our guide and quickly set off to the Extremadura, a 3 hour trip by van punctuated by several birding stops.

We arrived for a 9 pm dinner and will soon be off to bed so we can begin birding in earnest tomorrow.
