… Praying Mantis on a wall near our lodgings in the Extremadura (ca 3 cm tall).

We spent today driving around the area nearby, seeing the common local birds as well as large flocks of sheep and groups of cattle. We enjoyed the varying landscapes and many birds and insects—including this praying mantis, which our excellent local guide told us is difficult to find.
