Rain stops play...

Before it's even started...
A morning spent sorting out and tagging calves.
The weather was looking up,so after lunch, brought the combine from the shed next door and put the header on ,ready .
Of course it rained as soon as I started along the road.
So went away to spread slurry,then off down the road to feed heifers. There was a breeze and some sun,so thought I might try and cut a trailer load of oats just to see how wet they were,then it rained again.....
So combine still parked up,harvest no further on ,and more unsettled weather forecast.
Must be nice to have a 9-5 job !
