Roots

There are some wonderful old yew trees in Roudsea woods. I like walking with friend C because she,  like me,  stops to look and take photos. We were admiring the moss, the fungi, the trees. the bullrushes, amd more  whilst the others route marched round , totting up another couple of km and lots more steps. The important bit was to be back at The Bakehouse Cafe in Greenodd for lunch. I've not been there for ages and not since it started serving real food at lunch time.  Delicious food and great coffee.  I'll be going again.
