El Banisto del Arenal

The bather of Arenal is in Vigo, a large sea port in Northern Spain.  The sculpture is  very striking on the waterfront near the cruise terminal.

Vigo is a difficult town to negotiate with a wheelchair as it is built on relatively steep slopes next to the sea.  I am learning quickly that pushing a wheelchair uphill is difficult.  I am also learning that hanging on to a wheelchair going downhill is equally difficult.

We are heading north again now and our next stop will be Le Havre...
