The sky at night

This shot was taken at about 8.50pm looking west towards Gibraltar as we head away from the Mediterranean Sea on this lovely cruise ship.

The wind through the Straits of Gibraltar are often 2 levels higher than might be expected. This is due to the narrow steep channel. So that explains why it is windier today!
