Agnes Mary

Storm Agnes doing her worst! Not as dangerous as it looks, I was lurking behind a hedge, peeped forward for a moment and got soaked!  She's been battering away all day and now it's high tide but I don't think it's been quite as bad as forecast though there have been floods, power outages and flights cancelled  - ok, quite bad actually and very seasonal!

And here's a bit of interesting information. The storm is named after  Agnes Mary Clerke one of Ireland's first female astronomers who lived in Skibbereen. Bet you didn't know that. Keep snug everyone.
