Myrtos Beach

We are in the studio room at last. There was only one other couple in the hotel last night so it was very quiet. We moved our stuff down, met the guy with the car we are renting then headed off for the day.

First stop was the castle on the hill. A walk round the ruins…magnificent views…then a cold drink in the bar overlooking the bay.

A stop at a little beach, Agia Kiriaki, before we headed to the famous Myrtos Beach. The colours of the sea as you looked down from the mountains was tremendous. The waves were crashing in and it was too rough for us to get in. As they crashed on the sand the splashes were as high as a person.

We stopped at the 360 Bar on the way back and sat in the sunshine on the roof. There were a group of Welsh people who were hilarious as they tried to take pano pics. I showed them how to get one person in a few times as Sue ran round lol. In turn they recommended a restaurant which we went to for dinner. A lovely day.
